So, the shoulders and arms of users can be comfortably relaxed. It will make it so you don’t feel as if you have to push yourself in order to rest your arms against the armrests. This would make you uncomfortable, and it could even cause more strain to try and use the armrests of the chair if they were far apart. When typing on a keyboard or at your desk you should keep your elbow and lower arm lightly resting on the arms.
6. Seat Material
You should feel comfortable sitting for a prolonged period of time on the back and seat of the chair. If you have to sit for a long time on chairs with little padding, it will feel as if you’re sitting on wood. Leather or fabric? It all depends on the person.
